Our premium carded alpaca fibre is 100% New Zealand grown, sourced from our own alpacas here at Nevalea Alpacas. Each fleece is carefully hand-cleaned on-site—removing as much dirt and vegetation as possible—before being professionally washed and carded by skilled fibre processors in New Zealand.
Alpacas love to roll in the paddocks, so while we do our best to remove debris during the cleaning process, a small amount of natural plant matter may remain.
